Varden Fjellandsby consists of 16 high-standard cabins and 2 smaller annexes. The cabins have all the amenities you would want for a ski vacation: 4 bedrooms, 10 beds, 2 bathrooms, a sauna, ski-in/ski-out access, a fully equipped kitchen, drying cabinets, boot dryers, a washing machine, and a dryer. The annexes have 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.
Varden is Kvitfjell's most family-friendly mountainside, featuring wide green and blue slopes, making the area perfect for the whole family and for those who love wide carving turns. A gondola connects Varden to the west side, and a 6-seater chairlift takes you to the top of Varden.
Exclusive to our guests at Varden Fjellandsby is the Comfort Package, which can be added to your booking. The Comfort Package costs NOK 3000 (NOK 1500 for annexes) and includes:
* Beds made upon arrival
* 2 towels per person (one small and one large)
* 2 bags of firewood
* Toilet paper and paper towels
* Hand soap in the bathrooms
* Coffee filters
* 1 bag of coffee, plus 10 capsules for the coffee machine
* Dishwasher tablets and cleaning supplies
* Candles
* Kitchen towels and cloths
In the summer, there are excellent hiking opportunities both on foot and by bike. Within a half-hour drive, you can reach several attractions such as Hunderfossen to the south and Fron Water Park to the north. It’s also a short distance to small, charming centers like Fåvang and the village of Ringebu.
